Christmas Cabaret
During the holiday season, I returned to The Barn Theatre in Augusta, MI for their 2023 Christmas Cabaret. We sang holiday favorites in the Rehearsal Shed Bar for the patrons, as well as serving tables. This show was performed under the direction of Penelope Ragotzy. What a fun way to celebrate the holiday season!
Summer 2023
This past summer, I worked at The Barn Theatre in Augusta, MI. As an apprentice, I got to perform alongside Broadway and TV stars such as Eric Petersen, Carrie Compere, Robert Newman, and Lance Barber. The apprentices perform in mainshows as well as the nightly cabarets. These are just some of the memories I made as a Barnie in the 2023 summer season!
Graduation and Senior Show
Before graduating from Messiah University, Musical Theatre Majors are tasked with creating a capstone show our senior year. We must choose/write material, direct ourselves, and perform. My partner (Aria Walker) and I created a cabaret-style piece entitled, "You Know What They Say...," that explored the dress rehearsal of a senior show and some of the things that might go wrong. Though comedic, this show proved that though the show might go wrong, with the right people on your side, one can accomplish anything.
